Epidemiology & Disease Surveillance Portfolio 

Mission: To establish and operate a central epidemiologic resource for the Army; analyze, interpret and disseminate information regarding the status, trends, and determinants of the health and fitness of America’s Army; and identify and evaluate obstacles to medical readiness.

The Epidemiology & Disease Surveillance Portfolio is divided into four programs designed to support the health promotion and preventive medicine goals of the U.S. Army Public Health Command, the U.S. Army Medical Command, and the Military Health System 2020.
