The Laboratory Operations Program facilitates overall laboratory sciences improvements through customer service, laboratory resource management, automation services, and by providing general administrative and logistical support for the Laboratory Sciences Portfolio.

LABORATORY AUTOMATION SECTION

The Laboratory Automation Section's mission is to manage, operate and support the USAPHC Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

SAMPLE MANAGEMENT SECTION

Sample Management Laboratory (SML) provides quality technical and administrative services to the Laboratory Sciences Portfolioand its customers. Directs the inprocessing, distribution, and tracking of laboratory samples. Furnishes sample containers and supplies necessary for sample collection. Offers technical support to LAB and its customers that enable them to meet regulatory requirements and maintain sample integrity. Many of the services offered by SML enhance and simplify the sample collection process.
