The Occupational & Environmental Medicine Program provides commanders, policy makers, and medical leadership with information products and consultative services that reduce adverse health impacts to Warfighters and Department of the Army personnel. We specifically address auditory, visual, and occupational and environmental health hazards to include those resulting from unique military operations and certain chemical, biological, radiological, and toxic industrial chemical hazards. We provide training to military medical personnel deploying into theaters of operation in support of occupational and environmental health objectives or in support of broader preventive medicine requirements.
