Training

The Field Preventive Medicine Division offers extensive training opportunities to all levels of Preventive Medicine personnel.  Preventive Medicine personnel can receive refresher or initial training on any area of public health to include industrial hygiene, entomology, and environmental sanitation.

This catalog is not comprehensive and all our training is tailored to meet your needs and requirements.  In addition to training aids, forms and military publications, we bring our own calibrated and serviceable equipment to ensure Soldiers are trained accurately.  Upon request, we can also provide extra publications, pamphlets and other educational materials.

Other Services

In addition to traditional preventive medicine training, PHCR-West offers two types of certification courses annually.  The DoD pesticide applicator certification course and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation's ServSafe course are both offered at PHCR-West.
