Pharmaceutical Formulary Review

Pharmaceutical disposal can be more than a bit confusing due to the different Federal and state laws.  Utilizing a reverse distributor handles most pharmaceuticals.  However, this process is not a one size fits all solution.  

Providing disposal guidance is the mission of the Military Item Disposal Instructions (MIDI) team of the Army Institute of Public Health (AIPH). 

Our service includes:

1.  If necessary, an on-site visit to collect all of the necessary information.  Typically the formulary can be provided electronically.

2.  An in depth review of all of the items in your formulary to determine disposal method.

3. You will receive an easy to use spread sheet with disposal information to ensure that your formulary will be handled in a manner that is compliant with State and Federal regulations.

4. We can provide updates to you as your formulary changes.  You will maintain a proactive stance when it comes to compliance.

Free of charge for all Army units. 

For DOD units outside of the Army, only TDY costs (if any) will be borne by the customer.
