This program is intended for health care providers who will be assisting their female patients in quitting smoking, in particular, patients who are pregnant or in their child-bearing years.

Public Health Service Clinical Practice Guideline for clinicians to implement a system to ensure that tobacco-use status is obtained and recorded at every patient visit. Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Education Program 
The 18th Annual Nicotine Dependence Conference will focus on common challenges facing the treatment of patients with tobacco dependence. The conference is designed primarily for practitioners with experience in tobacco dependence treatment. Physicians, tobacco treatment specialists and other experts in tobacco treatment and behavior change will provide advanced discussions of treatment strategies to help practitioners more effectively intervene with their patients.
