Description
ServSafe Food Protection Manager 2-Day Workshop will provide participants the knowledge of and assessment tools for basic safe food handling procedures.  This workshop is designed for personnel that are going to take a Servsafe food handler certificate exam for the first time or need a review of exam material to renew their expired certificate.  The five sections are basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination and allergens, time & temperature, cleaning and sanitation.

THERE ARE NO PREREQUISTES REQUIRED FOR THIS SELECTION.
Remarks

The 2021 Army Public Health Course will be held 7-13 August 2021 on a virtual platform. There will not be a resident, in-person course.

The Army Public Health Course Director regrets that Foreign Nationals are NOT eligible to participate in the 2021 Army Public Health Course.

Workshop Format:

The 2021 Army Public Health Course - Workshop 1 - ServSafe Food Protection Manager Refresher will be conducted 7 - 8 August 2021 (Saturday and Sunday) over a virtual platform using Microsoft (MS) Teams.

Each attendee will be responsible for installing MS Teams on their respective computer and for ensuring MS Teams is functioning properly prior to the start of the Workshop. Very limited technical support will be available before and during the event. VPN connection may be required to use the new version of MS Teams; but additional MS Teams help and information will follow.
