Description

The objectives of the webinar series are to: 1. Upon participation in these continuing education activities, medical, nursing, and behavioral  health professionals facilitate efforts to engage in standardized practice and care across the multidisciplinary practices. 2. Upon participation in these continuing education activities,  medical, nursing and behavioral health professionals obtain internal CMEs/CEs,  and promote compliance with licensing requirements. 3. Upon participation in these continuing education  activities, physician, nursing, and behavioral health professionals increase  staff involvement and demonstrate increased interaction between physician,  nursing, behavioral health professionals, SMEs, and leaders to improve the  health habits of their patients. 4. Upon participation in these continuing education activities, medical,  nursing, and behavioral health professionals apply current best practices in  military medical and behavioral health settings.

Events will be hosted monthly on Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) on the FIRST THURSDAY of the month from 1130-1230 EDT and FIRST FRIDAY of the month from 1300-1400 EDT. If you do not already have a DCS account, we strongly recommend creating a DCS account prior to the event.  

To receive CME credit you MUST register on the AMEDD CME Website at https://education.mods.army.mil/cme/secured  The U.S. Army Medical Command designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 1.0 CME credit for each webinar session. The U.S. Army Medical Command is approved by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

The activity is set up so that you can obtain your CME certificate only one time for the duration of the activity.  If you continue to attend the sessions, you should wait until after the activity to claim your CME certificate. Once you have obtained a certificate, a second for subsequent webinars cannot be produced.  If you will no longer attend any sessions, you will need to contact APHC to calculate how many credits you have earned thus far and allow you to claim your CME certificate.

Remarks

For physicians and other health care professionals, register on the CME Website at https://education.mods.army.mil/cme/secured.  Click on 'Activity Registration' on the menu on the left.  After logging in search on "Behavioral" or activity number "2016-1634" to find the CME series. When registered for the CME activity, you are registered for the entire series not just a single webinar.
