On-site training is to assist installations with implementation of green procurement (GP) (also called sustainable procurement). GP shows preference to products and services that consider environmental and health impacts in accordance with one or more of the established Federal procurement preference programs. The training emphasizes the mandatory programs for the purchase of energy-efficient, biobased, and recycled content products. Audience includes government purchase card holders and approving officials, contracting officers, procurement specialists, and writers/reviewers of contract specifications. The requesting organization assumes responsibility to arrange for the training venue and to fund the cost of travel, per diem, and any other associated course costs to USAPHC.
