Commercial Audits

Information on commercial food, bottled water, and ice production sanitation facility audits and Worldwide Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed Forces Procurement (DoD Approved Food Source List).

Drinking Water

Information on field water, fixed installation water, recreational water (EHE portfolio), and bottled water (Veterinary Services portfolio). Technical support to the water supply community to ensure high-quality drinking water throughout the DoD.

Food & Drug Recalls

Information on all food/drug activities (ALFOODACT) and hazardous recalls of food, bottled water, drugs, medical devices, and health and beauty aids which are suspected or known to be hazardous or tampered with and may be in the DoD system.

Food & Water Risk Assessments

Information on food and water risk assessments (FWRA) of food, bottled water, and ice suppliers inspected for short term DoD events and exercises OCONUS.

Food Defense

Information on food defense which is the intentional contamination of food, bottled water, and ice from chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRN) or physical agents. Food defense is a multiagency integrated and coordinated effort.

Food Safety

Food Safety includes everything from proper food storage, washing hands, preventing cross contamination of foods during preparation, proper cooking temperatures, clean up and disinfection and many steps in between.

Operational Rations

Information on operational rations inspections pertaining to assembly plants, receipt, and surveillance. OPRATs are Unitized Group Rations (UGRs), Meals, Ready-to-Eat (MREs), Kosher/Halal Meals, Survival Rations, Humanitarian Daily Rations.
