The mission of the Environmental Health Sciences Division is to identify, monitor and mitigate adverse public health impacts to the Army Community from threats posed by hazardous and medical materials/wastes and environmental noise.

​Environmental Noise Branch To protect health and wellness, assess and manage noise impacts generated by military operations. Services include noise modeling, on-site noise monitoring, Operational Noise Management Plan development, NEPA support and consultative services.​

Waste Management Branch - Identify and monitor legacy public health threats resulting from past disposal practices.  Identify current and emerging environmental public health threats through waste characterization and consultations. Assess quality and effectiveness of programs through assistance and OIP inspections.

Program Development and Training Branch - Train personnel in proper waste management and transportation regulations to meet the Federal transportation requirements.
