The Customer Support Division (CSD) is the heart and soul of the PHCR-Europe Laboratory Sciences (LS) group. To meet our goals of producing Quality analytical data and providing excellent Customer Service, all work is performed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 biological and environmental testing laboratory accreditation requirements and the EPA National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP), under our ISO 9001:2008 registered Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 14001:2004 registered Environmental Management System (EMS).
The LS CSD staff are available for consultation in the following areas: analysis request and project coordination, sample handling requirements, chain-of-custody, request forms, arranging shipments, customer problems and complaints, quotes and billing issues, and report inquiries. Sample collection kits containing bottles, preservatives, ice packs certified for environmental use as contaminant-free and coolers can be prepared upon customer request to CSD.
The LS CSD staff can arrange sample shipments through Air Mobility Command (AMC), United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express (FedEx), or DHL Worldwide, and the United States Postal Service (USPS) depending on your location and requirements. When prearranged, sample shipments arriving at Ramstein Air Force Base (AFB) can be picked up by CSD staff or delivered after hours to CSD.
Samples are received in CSD and processed for in-house or contract laboratory analyses. Sample information is entered into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for optimal sample tracking capabilities.
The LS Certificate of Analysis, which is the final approved report, is printed by CSD and forwarded to the customer in the most expeditious manner available. Customer satisfaction surveys are sent with random packets of results. Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD) reports can be sent by email to customers upon request and will be sent at the conclusion of each project.
