  Laboratory Sciences:

  • Provides responsive, comprehensive laboratory science services worldwide as part of the occupational and environmental health assessment and medical surveillance processes of a public health team.
  • Performs analysis on pathogen carriers collected by Preventive Medicine personnel, including: mosquitoes, ticks, and rodents.
  • Supports the public health mission by providing analytical data to support surveillance efforts, and risk identification and mitigation.
  • Provides analytical services for the causative agents of vector-borne diseases including those listed below.

  • Developing and validating novel molecular-based protocols to detect emerging and re-emerging vector-borne diseases of public health significance.

  • Highly knowledgeable and skilled technologists with extensive molecular biology experience, including:
