In support of the Army Medicine Strategy and the Army Medicine Campaign Plan , the AMED Campaign 2017 Unintentional Injury Prevention Program and Physical Performance Service Line have joined efforts to bring unintentional injury prevention and physical performance science to those in the field.
The Office of the Surgeon General’s (OTSG) Rehabilitation and Reintegration Division (R2D), the Army Public Health Center, U.S. Army Research Institute for Environmental Medicine , Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP), and other key organizations form the Research to Practice Work Group. The goals of the work group are to: (1) organize and present the online Army Medicine Campaign Research to Practice Education Series and (2) share injury prevention and physical fitness communication products and resources available or in development across organizations.
