The primary goal of United States humanitarian assistance is to save lives and alleviate suffering by ensuring that vulnerable and crisis-affected individuals receive assistance and protection. Assistance includes urgent life-saving support including food, shelter, safe drinking water, improved sanitation and hygiene, emergency healthcare services, child protection programs, or education, among other activities.

This page contains a collection of resources for military public health professionals providing humanitarian assistance. For more questions or to request specific APHC support, please contact the Public Health Preparedness and Response Division at 410-436-7941 or email usarmy.apg.mecom-aphc.list.org-phcom-ppr@mail.mil
