‚ÄčThe BH-RADR presents prevalence of self-reported risk for behavioral health (BH)-related outcomes and uses proportions to describe the characteristics of Soldiers who were screened during the specified time period. The data for these measures are from the deployment health assessments (i.e., Pre-DHA, PDHA, and PDHRA) and from the Periodic Health Assessments (PHA). Counts and proportions of BH diagnoses and BH encounters are based on administrative medical data from Military Health System Data Repository (MDR).

‚ÄčThe External Link 2015 BH-RADR, released September 2017, uses the health assessment data to characterize Soldiers who reported post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, depression symptoms, and hazardous drinking behavior. The report included the most recently completed health assessment for each Soldier during 2015 resulting in 87,589 Pre-Deployment Health Assessments (Pre-DHA), 61,100 Post Deployment Health Assessments (PDHA),  66,631 Post Deployment Health Re-Assessments (PDHRA), and 614,534 and/or Periodic Health Assessments (PHA).
