Teleworking can be challenging. Here are some health and wellness tips to manage your time by making lists and delegating activities. 
  • Leave work at work.
  • Prioritize work duties.
  • Build self-care into your weekly schedule (e.g. indulging in a hobby, reading a book, or taking a brisk walk).
  • Create a family calendar to ensure you don't miss family events. 
  • Remember to practice healthy sleep, activity and nutrition habits with the Performance Triad 
  • If you are a supervisor, lead by example.

Life Matters: Create a Balance of Work and Self-Care with These Tips

  • Let go of perfectionism. Strive for excellence, not perfection. 
  • Shut off or put your phone on 'do not disturb' to enjoy the moment. 
  • Don't text and send work emails while socializing with family and friends. 
  • Build time in your schedule for quality time with family, friends and self. Draw firm boundaries. 
  • Schedule some quiet time during the day for prayer, meditation, journaling, or personal reflection.
  • Clearly communicate your time off - tell your manager, co-workers, and make your calendar visible for all to see your blocked out times.
