We are also able to develop new
in vitro techniques and methodologies to meet our customers' needs. For example, we are currently developing and validating Precision Organ Slice (POS) technologies, which are effective, rapid, and low cost methods of exposing living tissue to chemicals for toxicity assessments. The Toxicology Portfolio has also contributed to the development of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Avian Two-Generation Toxicity Test in the Japanese Quail (JQTT), OCSPP Test Guideline 890.2100, which is one of the new Endocrine Disrupting Screening Program's Tier 2 test guidelines.
